Saving Edward (Continued)Part TwoItems to FindMiraculous Medicine, Staff Paper, Black Berry Potion, Malus Wood.Enemies to BattleGreen Drago Warrior, Killer Wasp, Green Drago Chief, Tequilo, Mandragora, Orthros (boss), Vermified Edward (boss).Halgita is a massive place that's plenty-worthy of your time (as far as exploration is concerned, anyway). There are a billion people to talk to (okay, not quite a billion, but you get the idea), and some items to find as well (such as some Miraculous Medicine or Staff Paper). When you find the hallway of shops in the city, ignore them for now (you'll be glad you did). Instead, simply pick everybody's brain you meet and explore the gigantic city in its entirety. You can walk around on foot or take various elevators to reach the floors above and below you, but remember that your ultimate goal for now is to head to the throne room, where you can speak with Halgita's queen. After the cutscene with the queen finishes, you'll see exactly why we told you to hold off on shopping for the time being. And that reason is because the queen forks over a staggering 100,000 Fol for you to use on the rest of your journey.
A remarkable amount of money, that should give you more than enough funds to equip your entire party with new gear. You should even have plenty of money to restock your inventory with curative items. If you run out of money though, simply sell your old, unneeded gear. It's extremely important that your party is as well-equipped as possible before you head back to the Cobasna Timberlands once more. It's time to traverse the confusing Timberlands once more. Thankfully, we don't have an incredibly long distance to go. While our destination is actually located far to the north and slightly east of Halgita, we're going to need to take a roundabout route so as to dodge the ever-transporting mist covering the woods.
Infinite Undiscovery at IGN: walkthroughs, items, maps, video tips, and strategies. Browse IGN; Sign In. You're going to need to head to the Cobasna Timberlands. Getting there is simple enough - go to the inn and turn left once outside, going down the corridor beyond the door. Taking a look at your map will be the best way. Treasure Chest Guide Infinite Undiscovery. This is a map of the Cobasna Timberlands, the following descriptions will refer to places marked on the map. I would suggest that you save the map so.
Head north from the city, and go left at the first juncture you reach. Follow this path westward until you have an option to continue west, or go south or north. Here, go north, and continue until you can head east. When you do, you'll run into mist that will teleport you to another part of the woods and to perhaps the most difficult boss battle you've yet encountered. Orthros is a Chimera-like creature who is extremely quick and aggressive in battle. Hopefully, you have a healer with you. Make sure to free up your characters to use what attacks and skills they deem necessary as we proceed through the battle.
As long as Capell is staying well-healed, this battle is all about being equally aggressive back to the foe. Chip away at his health, try to dodge his pesky (yet weak) flame attack, and when he dashes across the screen, try to dodge him at all costs, as that's perhaps his most devastating attack. This battle can be difficult because of its fast-paced nature and the overly-aggressive tactics of the boss.Once felled, we can proceed. You'll need to work your way to the northeast section of the forest. This is all about trial-and-error as you learn about which mist patches will lead you where and so on and so forth. Don't get frustrated here, as you're given in essence a great opportunity to build up your experience by fighting all of the enemies here (Green Drago Chiefs, Tequilos and Mandragoras will join the fray at this point - harder enemies to deal with than Green Drago Warriors and the weak Killer Wasps).
When you finally arrive at a creek, a series of cutscenes will ensue. Ultimately, the medicine you need for Edward will be handed over, at which point you can backtrack all the way back to Kolton. When you arrive in Kolton, though, things aren't as you left them. This icy town has been overrun by a fierce monster, a monster which you'll have to do battle with. But wait it's Edward! Before you can heal him, you have to stop him from causing havoc. Play Precipere near him on Capell's flute so that you and your party can actually damage him.
After jumping around a few times, you'll be able to fight him consistently (though you'll need to repeat the flute playing every so often). The battle is a no-brainer, just keep an eye on the time meter at the top of the screen. You should easily be able to take him before the meter is even halfway dropped, however.
After all the talking you'll be in a fight. Just mash to cut down both guards. Press to sheathe your sword, you can't attack when it is sheathed but you run faster. Follow the path after the scene to find two chests, open the one on the right for some armor. Face the chests and take the path on your left to find a save point. Take the left right before the save point after saving and you'll get a scene and the game will give you a quick heads up on the connect command. All the allies you get will have skills you can connect to them and use.
It's occasionally used in puzzles but it's mostly just used for shooting arrows with Aya or opening chests with someone later. After the tutorial you'll be sitting behind a dude. Hold and press to connect with Aya. Press to activate aiming mode and then aim at the guard and then press to shoot at him and get an achievement. Deal with the guards that charge and then use the lever in the elevator to go up (to the left of the guard you shot). You'll see the first 'boss'.
Just run past him and up the ramps. Cut down the guards you come by and break the barricades if they are in your way. The boss shows up as a red arrow on the minimap like any other enemy, so using it to keep track of him makes it fairly easy to stay out of his way. When you see the red arrow moving toward you very quickly he is likely charging you, you want to move left or right so he runs past you. Once you reach the top you'll have a scene and then he will slowly be walking toward you and you'll see 3 piles of barrels on the right. Connect with Aya and use her button skill to shoot the middle group of barrels when the boss is by them.
Now head back down the ramp and shoot all the barrels with Aya and you'll get an achievement when you break the last one. Once you are ready head through the big door to reach Graad Woods. Unless you are by a torch the minimap is fuzzy but you can still get a pretty good idea of what it looks like. Unfortunately thanks to the darkness and limited sight range it's hard to navigate, but the torches show the right way, so following them would be much easier than using directions. If you can't find the next torch, look around a wall or behind a corner, the picture should help.
Eventually the boss will show up again, just keep following the torches, you'll reach a bridge and a scene will trigger.Talk to everyone twice then talk to Aya twice. After the scenes you'll be carrying someone. You move slow and can't attack. Just follow the path and then when you see enemies let your party handle them and stay away.
Keep going until you reach Luce Plains, the game will prompt you to save, do so.Video. For an achievement you need to get to Nolaan without getting hit. The easiest way to do this is to run forward to the hill and hide behind it while you follow the left side of it and then head to the left wall once you reach the end of the rock and run against the wall. The dragon tries to lead its fireballs into you and running into a wall seems to make it very hard for it to hit you. If you get hit you have to let the dragon kill you to retry.
It might take a try or 2 but it works for me the vast majority of the time, use the video for reference. Follow the wall to Nolaan, you'll get an achievement if you made it without getting hit. I've read that if you sit behind a stone pillar or wall the dragon will eventually attack other things and then you can just run straight through, but I was not able to get this glitch to work. Worth a try if you cannot get my method to work.
Go forward and ignore the path on the left to find a pitch black room. You'll see a blue lever, go up to it and use it. The lights will turn on and you'll find a ton of bats. Kill them all (keep an eye on the 2 kids, they can be overwhelmed) and then head north. Ignore the path on the left again. In the next big room kill everything and go northeast (ignore the path on the left), east at the next big room (ignore the path on the left) and then south to the next big room (again, ignore the path on your left). When you leave this room to the south you'll end up at a big door, press to examine it.Backtrack to the last big room we were in and connect with Rico and use Rico's Penguin Parade on the bat and then go back to the door and press.
Return to the big room and use Penguin Parade on the snake and bring it back to the door as well and then you can enter for the first real boss. Your first objective is cutting down the 2 snakes so you can concentrate on the boss. The boss is easier than he seems. He has 2 main attacks, a punch attack and an axe swing.
You can parry both attacks with and the timing is pretty forgiving. What you want to do is parry his attack, hit him 6 times and then wait for him to start to attack again and parry it, repeat until he dies. In both cases you want to parry right before his fist/axe lands. The only thing of note is the dragon spewing fire at the battlefield, stay to his left (your right) right by the platform he is on so the fireballs don't hit you. After you defeat the boss head behind the platform the dragon is on, you'll see a blue wall that seems to be 'moving' a bit and you'll hear a ringing noise, press to use the percipere spell you were just given to reveal a path.
You can play different songs and each one has different effects, but percipere is the only one you'll actually use. If percipere isn't selected you can change your selected tune by pressing. Follow the path back to Nolaan. Head to the house up the ramp where you first saw the kids and go to the door for a scene. Now enter the building closest to the exit to the plains to find a shop (the shopkeeper is a green arrow).
We want to buy all the weapons/armor. The simplest method for money making is buying raw materials and then making stuff and selling it. In this case, we'll be buying red and blue berries from the shop and making 100% berry juices with Aya and Rucha.DO NOT agree to help the shopkeeper or you can't buy stuff from her until you finish her quest.
Put Aya and Rucha in your party if they aren't already and leave Nolaan, then press and choose create. Each character has a list of items they can make, you can choose other characters with /. You'll see a bar that shows how long until the item is made. Note you can start making a 100% Berry Juice with Aya then over to Rucha and have her start making one and then alternate to make twice as many.
2 red berries is 60, a blue berry is 35, you can sell the juice for 225, giving you 130 profit for each juice. Fol gains from enemies are pretty low, so this method for money is always much faster. On top of the weapons/armor buy a bunch of Red Berry Potions and Cork Wood.Map. Once you have everything, save and head out into the plains.
Follow the wall on your right, you'll eventually reach a cave/passageway and after going through you'll be in the bottom part of Luce Plains. Head straight east (use the save point on the way!) and you'll eventually reach Castle Prevant. Just kill enemies until the catapults appear, then sheathe your weapon and approach a catapult and press to use it. Move the catapult left or right to line it up with one of the archers shooting at you from the walls (DON'T hit the gate yet), then hold until the meter fills up and release. You need to kill 10 of these archers and then you'll get an achievement. Now keep hitting the gate with the catapults until it breaks, its life bar is at the top of the screen. Now you'll be in the castle, SAVE THE GAME QUICKLY and prepare for some fun.
For an achievement we have to save a bunch of soldiers and one of them will die every 4 minutes if we don't help them. I would suggest using a site like www.online-stopwatch.com so you can keep track of how much time you have left. If you go forward from the save point and go left you'll come across 2 doors on the right and 2 more at the end of the path, each has an ally. The first one you'll see will die in 4 minutes, the 2nd in 8 minutes and on the other side you can find the 3rd that dies in 12 minutes and the 4th will die after 16 minutes. You need a cell key to open each door, so we need 4 total. Thanks to the vouchers this is much easier than it could be though. That said don't bother fighting enemies and as you'll see early on right past the save point, the gargoyles are activated by traps.
There's 3 sets of them on the way to the last 2 cell keys and I'd honestly just try to avoid the traps best you can and run through everything. When it's clear heal up and keep going. If you have some spare money you might want to grab some Miraculous Medicine, but it's not required.Start by going past the 2nd door to find some soldiers, chase them down and one will drop a cell key (C1), open the first door (Q1).
Now go back to the fork and go right (south) and ignore the 2 doors. As the path turns east you'll see a passage on the left, go in the door and you'll find a cell key (C2), use it on door 2 (Q2). Now go back to that passage and keep going east instead, then north. Follow this all the way to the stairs up to floor 2. Follow this path until you reach a 4 way intersection, go north and then take the passage west. Follow it and ignore the door, then go east at the 3 way intersection.Follow this to another dark area, just rush west through it to find more stairs, go up them to reach a big door and get a scene. You'll get a new party member named Edward now, save and buy 2 iron metal, 2 marble and 2 holy water from Genma nearby and make 2 cell keys with Edward (C3/C4).
Now rush back down to the cells on the 1st floor and open the last 2 cells (Q3 and Q4), when you open the 4th you should get a situation bonus and an achievement. 2 guidesI got hit a lot and arrived at the 3rd cell at just over 11 minutes, so you have some leeway.
Now return to the big room where we got Edward. Talk to Genma by the save point to rest, then go through the other door to leave, after going up the stairs and turning left twice you'll reach a fork and straight ahead will be a chest. It's actually a mimic, ignore it. Turn right from where the chest is and go forward for a scene.
Now return to where the mimic was and go straight west all the way to the dead end, then use percipere on the wall to the north at the end to find some stairs. Go up them for scenes and then a boss fight. This fight is fairly simple, kill all the peons and then concentrate on Lester.
He does quite a bit of damage so if you want, you can just let your allies fight him. The guy in silver armor actually has infinite HP, so you can just sit back and watch them stab each other until Lester dies. You'll get an achievement once Lester goes down.
Head to Nolaan. Buy a bunch of bronze metal (get some money making 100% berry juices if you need to) and start making Bronze Scale Greaves with Sigmund and Edward. Once Edward levels up and can make Bronze Plate Greaves, do so. Keep making them until Edward is IC level 6 'Claridian Hammer'. Now we want to make a good weapon for Capell and Edward.
Sell the Bronze Plate Greaves and use the money to buy this stuff.4 bronze metal2 iron metal3 copper metal5 silver metal4 steel metal3 titanium metal3 prismatite metal3 mercurius metal3 crystallite metal1 marble4 lunatite1 mercurius2 crystallite metal1 hearthstoneNow make these items, save before making every item with!!! Or after that item in case they fail.Shortsword Longsword Silver Sword Crescent Sword Holy Sword Crystallite Blade!!!Hand-and-a-Half Sword Bastard Sword Claymore Katzbalger Flamberge Prismatite Blade Braveheart!!! Dullahan!!!The Crystallite blade is for Capell, the Dullahan is for Edward. Now return to Luce Plains and go straight west to find the town of Burguss. Note the map says Burgusstadt, but in-game it is sometimes referred to as Burguss and that's the name I'll use since it is shorter.Map. Near the south end of town (right before Luce Plains) is the shop. The north end has your next story objective.
Take a left once inside the castle and approach the 2nd door on the left for a scene. Connect with both Michelle and Edward while you are here. Go north to the door closest to the main hall to find Savio, connect with him. Now enter the other northern room to get a scene, then connect with Sigmund. Eugene is in the far west room, connect with him. Now go all the way east for a scene. Afterward leave the castle.
As you walk down the path you'll find Rico and Rucha, connect with them if you haven't. The second door on the left leads to the bar, connect with Balbagan while you are here. The last door on the right is the inn, connect with Aya if you didn't already.Map. After the scenes leave the inn you start in and you'll see an orange crystal in front of you. You need to destroy all of these, there are 12. Most of them are in buildings or in plain sight, but 3 are hidden.
The 1st is the crystal I just mentioned, there is a fake wall you can dispel with percipere behind it to find the 2nd one. If you face that wall and turn left you'll see the 3rd above a tree. The 4th is in the middle of the area. A 5th sits above the big building in the middle of town (north of the fake wall). 6th and 7th are in that same building, one on the ground and one in the air. If you face this building and turn right, you'll see the 8th on the left and the 9th is in a fake wall behind it.10th is south of 8/9 in the building, you'll need to use percipere to reveal it. 11th is at the west edge of town, in between two buildings.
The last is in the building north of the 11th crystal. After breaking all 12 you'll get a scene and then a boss fight. The easiest thing to do is sit back and let Sigmund and Edward handle him. Assuming you bought all those red berry potions, all you need to do is spam them to heal Edward and company while everyone defeats the boss. You'll get an achievement. Go straight and a bit left through the archway.
You now need to protect the child from 3 snakes and a bear, he cannot get hit, NOT EVEN ONCE! If you see him get hit reload your save. The best way to do this is to run forward and attack the first snake on your right and kill it, then quickly turn left and go after the other 2 snakes. The bear generally goes for Aya or Capell, so as long as you keep the snakes off the kid you'll be fine. If you made the sword for Capell one Cutting Gavote should be enough to kill a snake. Once the snakes and bear are dead, you'll need to shoot a bird. Connect with Aya and use her attack to hit the bird.
If you were successful you'll immediately get a situation bonus, and after you press A to clear the bonus you'll get the achievement as the next scene loads. 2 guidesNow go to Faina's house, east of the shop, then leave Sapran. You'll get a scene where you'll learn how to enchant. Enchanting allows you to enchant your party members with a ton of different things, but only a few will be relevant. The first is 'element' attack, you can use this to abuse the elemental weaknesses of a boss.
You can also enchant experience and fol boosts. Each enchant only lasts for a certain amount of time and only affects the character you cast it on (you can change which character you put it on with cnRB/. The +% ones can stack, but the X2 and X3 will not. You also can't stack elemental enchants.
Buy a bunch of Metal Fragments and Sandstone from the store in Sapran (you might have to leave and come back before she will sell). Go back to the save point in the desert and then go west. Ignore the big area to the north and keep going west and you'll eventually get a scene, now you have to get 10 pieces of firewood.Map. If you follow the edge of the area you'll find 7 of them. The piece of firewood that's in the southern section is near another, the 2nd one is hidden in the grass.
3 are among the glimmers on the ground, search them to find the rest of the firewood. Once you have 10 talk to Aya for a scene. After that head south, then west to Fayel.Go north to the castle for scenes. Now leave for some scenes and then talk to Gina behind you, then talk to the 'Aspiring Warrior' kid near Genma.
Now talk to Gina one last time. Leave Fayel and follow the wall on the right to find a passageway that leads to the bear. Kill the Gigas attacking it. Return to Fayel. If you need Holy Water to upgrade Capell's sword you can find it in the Item Shop. Once you are ready, enter the inn for a scene, save and then talk to Eugene and say yes. Now leave the inn for some scenes.Map.
Head northeast from where you start and look for the hill, try to avoid the rocks and go up it. In the northeast you'll find another hill, climb it to find Genma and a save point. Buy a bunch of Holy Water and Sunstones from him. Keep going to find the next area. Go straight north and then northwest up the hill to reach Castle Vesplume.Follow the path until you go down a ramp, then go into the next room and go up the ramp and examine the pedestal.
Backtrack to the gate near the beginning to get an orb, then go to the pedestal and use the orb. This opens the door under the pedestal, go down the ramp turn left twice and go in the door.
Keep going to head to the next floor. Each of these elevators between the floors has a save point, make sure you save at each one. As you move through the next floor you'll encounter an orb of light on a stand. You'll see these multiple times in Vesplume, you need to hit all of them at once and that is easily done by pressing. In this case there is just one though, so hit it with whatever. Going forward you'll find a projector and some mirrors, this is a laser puzzle you've probably done in 50 other games.
Use the southeast mirror once, then the middle mirror in the top 3 once and then use the projector.North of the projector room ignore the path going east and keep going north, follow the path to another easy orb puzzle and then move on to the 3rd floor. Follow the path out to a balcony and go to the right (west). Go in the door you come to and you'll find another projector puzzle. Let's assume the 3 mirrors in a line closest to you are the 'bottom' row.
You want to use the mirror on the right once, both mirrors in the middle row and then the far right mirror in the top row and then use the projector to open the door. Use the mirror by the projector and hit it again to open a door east of you, go in here and take the orb of order from the chest.Go south and follow the path to another balcony and go left (north) this time to find a chest with an orb of rebirth fragment. Now head south and go all the way to the end of the balcony (ignore the door) to find a chest with a second fragment. Now go in the door you just ignored and progress forward to get a scene.
You have to fight clones of yourself, you need to blitz them ASAP as they can kill you easily even on normal difficulty. You should be able to kill them in one attack, you just need to be quick. Keep going to find the 4th floor.Go forward to find another mirror puzzle and get the fragment, then have Sigmund make the Orb of Rebirth. Go out to the balcony and go right (east).
You'll eventually get a scene and then you'll be blocked in. Just sit still and attack anything that comes at you until your allies stop the falling rocks, then continue forward and enter the door you see. Just before the 5th floor you'll have another orb puzzle, just hit keep hitting the orbs in a circle until the door opens. On the 5th floor you have 2 bosses, so make sure you save. The 5th floor is straightforward, the big room will have the first boss.
Kill the 2 wolves and then blitz the eye, you'll avoid most of its attacks by staying behind it.After it is dead, go north and then east to find stairs to the next boss, enchant earth attack onto everyone before you go up. Dmitri is quite annoying, as he teleports around and shoots arrows and he has allies. Also note Sigmund is fighting with someone, avoid them as you can take collateral damage. If you want, you can wait until Aya/Edward show up and let them deal with the boss, but with earth enchanted it shouldn't take long at all to kill him on normal. You'll get an achievement after all the scenes. Now head to the Oradian Mountains (the entrance is north of the exit to the Oradian Dunes in Fayel) and go southeast after the first boulder ramp to find Binar Mines. What you want to do is lure the lumpers onto the mine tracks and then hit the cart so the cart runs them over and they die.
Kill 10 enemies for an achievement. The door on the left as you go in has a bunch waiting for them to pop out and then hitting them all with the cart will help. There's some lumpers in the back of the room you can hit with it too. You can leave and come back to respawn them and get another chance if need be.
Here's a video if you'd like a visual aid:Video. Exit the mines and go back to Fayel, exit to the Oradian Dunes, go east and then north all the way to Port Zala. Save and heal, then go toward the pier for a scene. Now go down the ramp to the characters from the scene's right (your left if facing them), enchant earth on everyone and follow the path north for some scenes, then go forward into the cave for another scene and a boss fight. Start by killing the fish and crabs, then target the boss until he falls to one knee. Now look for the chain and attack the blue orb it is connected to until the barrier comes back up.
You also need to keep an eye on the ground and when you see the water start receding, run behind one of the rocks sticking out of the ground to avoid getting hit. When it ends defeat the crabs/fish and then hit the boss until he falls. You should be able to kill him before the next wave and after that all you need to do is hit the chain until it breaks.
Though tsunamis can still happen, so keep an eye on the ground. You'll get 2 achievements if you don't get hit. 1 guideGo back to the inn. Go into the building north of the inn to find Dominica, make sure to connect with her. Now head toward the pier for a scene and then leave the inn. There's a shop just down the road south of the inn that has some new things, though nothing too great.
Talk to the town loving fisherman by the boat and say yes. You'll have a fight after the scenes, you need to use percipere to reveal the enemy so your allies can hit it. You cannot damage it unless you connect to an ally and use symphonic blade, though it isn't necessary.
After your allies kill it you'll be in the inn with Vic, connect with him. Use the inn and save, then exit the inn and go east.
You'll come across a teleporter to Cobasna Timberlands. Go through and build 2 parties.Map. Leave Halgita after you have shopped and saved and go north, at the intersection go west and then north. At the 1st 4 way intersection keep going north, then go east at the next intersection. You'll be coming to a boss soon, enchant water on everyone's weapon. This boss is quite annoying, but only has 2 attacks.
Simply lay into it with melee and use to call for healing when anyone is below 50%. If you are having trouble, let your party fight it and stand far away and throw red berry potions at people as they need them.
Once it is dead, exit this intersection via the east path which will turn north. You'll run into another intersection, go west. You'll see a fog wall, walk into it to teleport. Now go south and go through that fog. Now go forward for a scene, then go forward again for another scene.
Now go forward and then north at the fork and approach the house for a scene.Go south all the way back to the portal we came from, then walk back to Halgita using the same path we just did. Assuming you didn't explore, just follow the minimap (or refer to the picture above). However, instead of going back to Halgita, go to Kolton. Before entering I would suggest putting Symphonic Blade on or.You'll get a scene and then a boss fight. This boss loves to knock you down and you've got to use the flute to reveal him. Connect with an ally and use Symphonic Blade, then help your allies kill him.
If you can, get a Cutting Gavote off on him to knock him in the air, it will make the 3 phases of the battle much easier. The game tells you about vermification now. The basics is that when you are in an area with lunar rain (the golden rain you see in some areas), some of your characters slowly vermify. If they vermify enough to turn black, they will turn hostile and attack your own party. You should never be in one area long enough for your characters to vermify.
You'll see the process happen as they get wings, then bigger wings, then turn black and attack you. You can sleep at an inn to clear the vermification, and the lunar suppressants you were given by Kiriya can also reduce their vermification, so you can use them if necessary. Before we leave head to the general shop (south of the inn) and connect to Kiriya. Also, you can find Gustav in the northern section of Kolton, east of the church entrance in an alcove.Map. You'll fight a ton of spiders. Make sure you save after the fight, this dungeon is not fun. Go south through the web from here.
Take the first right and when you approach the scorpion you'll notice some mushrooms, if someone hits these with an attack, they will confuse your characters (and also enemies!), so stay away from them.Continue following the path to a fork and take the path on the right. A spider will make a bridge for you, keep going ahead. Ignore the web and continue forward to find another bridge. Going forward you'll find yet another bridge. I got the achievement for 1000 kills around now, so you have that to look forward to as well. 1 guideAt the next fork go right to find another bridge, then cross it and take the path on the right.
Ignore the path going east and continue west to find another bridge. At the fork go left. When you reach a big room, you'll see 3 paths. You can only use the one on the right. Continue forward until you find a fork, go right then at the next fork go right as well and enchant fire, then go forward to find a boss fight that probably won't shock you.
The pattern is simple, kill the smaller spiders until the mother spider comes out and starts spitting more out, blitz her until she goes back into the hole in the back of the room, then repeat until she dies. Go through the hole she was in and save at the save point, then enchant aether and continue forward to find another boss. This one is a bit more complicated, he has a couple Area of Effect attacks that will really mess your party up and he summons fatespheres that can allow him to do more powerful attacks. He has 2 forms, just blitz the first form with your entire party, it should end quickly.
This new phase isn't as easy, you need to destroy the fatespheres, but also use percipere to reveal him so your party can attack him. The latter action puts you in range of his abilities, so try to make sure he is engaged in one of his weak melee attacks or just finished one of his AoE attacks before you get near him to use the flute. If need be, back off and use a bunch of potions to heal everyone. Same as the last boss, when he takes enough damage you can go after the chain until the barrier reappears. Repeat the pattern until he dies and break the chain as well. You'll get an achievement.
1 guideNow you are in Halgita, go to the inn and heal/save (you'll get scenes on the way). Then leave (more scenes). Head back to Kolton. Go see the king (go to the south part of the town that leads to the ship and go north into the big doors, it's the building in the middle of town). Afterward go south to the ship and use it to return to Port Zala.
Go north a bit and then right past Aya and use the first door on your right to find Kristofer, connect with him. Now head to the shop south of the inn to find Seraphina, connect with her for the achievement. Go straight north until it turns east, then follow it as it twists south and north a couple times. When the path forks east/south, go south. At the next fork go north. At the next fork go east and then east again to get ambushed, after beating everything go east and you'll end up in another ambush.
Go east one last time to get into a boss fight. He teleports around and is annoying to pin down, however once your other party arrives I'd just focus on the skeletons he summons and let your party deal with the boss, much less stress that way. After he is dead head east to find a save point and then go south, you'll see a red symbol on the floor. When the door behind you closes, the other doors will illuminate with a color, you need to go through the correct doors. Those are.White (east)Blue (south)Yellow (south)Purple (west)Red (west)White (north)Blue (west)Yellow (west)Purple (south)Red (south)White (east)Blue (south)Yellow (east)Purple (south)From the exit of the maze go straight south, then west, take the first south path and then go west into another big room.
Follow the path around to eventually find a room with 2 orbs that change color, hit them when they are green and go west, do this two more times (you'll need percipere to see the last 2 orbs) and then continue following the path until you reach a door, you'll find a boss. This boss does a ton of damage even on this difficulty, has multiple AoE attacks and one of them stuns everyone hit by it. If your whole party gets hit by it, enjoy the game over. Instead of trying to play Russian roulette, stay back and let your party hit her. One of your secondary parties will come and help out.
She teleports around a lot, so be ready to move. Otherwise you should be standing just close enough for your party to attack her and throwing out healing items left and right as necessary.
When she kinda of slumps down, pound the chain until the barrier returns. Repeat until you win and get an achievement. You'll have another boss fight. He can hover just above the ground, fly, or land. You can only hit it if it's hovering or if it lands. It knocks you down often and can do a good deal of damage, I suggest sitting back and letting your team take it on while you heal.
Once it is down go north until you get a scene.Afterward you'll see a save point down a small hill, save and go west. You'll eventually get a scene, now head back east to where the save point was.
You'll notice a big ol' orange triangle on the map, that's a transporter back to Kolton, enter it. The next step in the story is the end of the game and as such if there is anything you want to do, now is the time to do it. In preparation we need to do a few things. In Kolton, go into the house in the southeast section of town to find Kristopher, talk to him and say 'I'll do it' and then tell him the order is BAC. Now go to the teleporter and go back to the Pieria Marshlands (where you just were). Now we want to gain some levels. The alternative can be done mostly AFK, the kind of thing you check on once in awhile while watching a TV show or whatever. Go back to where you fought the dragon and walk up to the body of water in the west part of the area.
Stand by the coast. Enemies will continually spawn and attack you, your allies will take care of them. Here's a picture to help make it clearer.Map. On normal and with the good equipment on you and Edward, your allies should have no trouble keeping up with the respawning enemies. The only thing you have to worry about is that enemies may knock you back and then they won't spawn anymore. To fix this take a rubber band and put the analog in a position where you are constantly running against the water and a rock. You can actually leave it like this overnight but that's probably overkill.
Level 55-60 should be enough. When you are ready, use Genma to stock up on potions (or head to Kolton and do it there) and then save. Go to the marshlands and head west, then north (you'll get a cutscene) and use the teleporter to enter the Underwater Palace. Enchant earth on everyone and then go forward to find the boss.Map. He does a pretty obnoxious amount of damage compared to what you've faced so far, so the best strategy is to stay back and heal everyone while they whittle him down.
The problem is that he has a lot of AoE attacks and the room isn't very big, so you'll need to be careful. Most of his attacks only hit in front or to the side so staying behind him and hitting him works well. If you stay behind him and keep his attention on you so Aya/Michelle can heal that will work. Do whatever works for you. This palace is very straight forward. There is only one path. The first big room has regular enemies, the next big room on the next floor will have a boss, next will be regular enemies and so on and so forth. First floor has birds and wolves.
Next floor has 2 eye bosses. They use a lot of status effects, I'd suggest staying back and healing so you don't get hit with stun or something and get wiped. They don't have much HP so it isn't a long fight as long as you keep everyone healthy. The next has Gigas and soldiers, take the archers and mages out first, then concentrate on the Gigas. Next floor is a boss, enchant water before going in, it's the chimera again. Same attacks as usual, he just hurts a lot more. Next room has wasps and turtles, cut down the turtles first.
The next floor has the reaper boss, enchant aether. He does more damage than he did the last time we fought him but honestly I'd just blitz him, he's the weakest boss in the palace. The next floor has a save point with Genma, restock on healing stuff. Next boss is a new one, enchant earth beforehand. Attack it until it focuses you, then run circles around it. It'll turn to try and face you so it can attack you and while it does that your team will rip it apart. Make sure to attack it a couple of times while you are behind it or it will start focusing someone else eventually. It's possible to beat this boss without it attacking once. The next floor has a boss that works the same way, enchant earth again.
Do your best to keep its attention on you, as it can very quickly wreck your party. Its bite can take massive chunks of health and it can spin around the room damaging everyone. So long as you keep it spinning around trying to lock onto you, the fight is simple. If you fail to do that, you may want to back off and be a healbot.Right after you finish that fight you are thrown into another one. The start isn't very complicated, destroy the 6 chains around him and then just blitz him with Grinn Valesti. He will eventually use an attack that makes the chains around him lash out in every direction around him, when he starts doing it just back off and go on healing duty while your team kills him.
1 guideSave, then go through the east door and then go forward to find another boss. He has the same attacks as last time, with one new one. He will fly into the air, then throw a very powerful orb at whoever he is targeting (he will be facing them). Other than that everything is the same. Blitz him with melee if you think you can survive, or stay back and be a healbot. Now for the final boss.
He has 6 things orbiting him, you need to destroy all 6 before you can fight him. If they are spinning vertically or all of them are spinning horizontally, you can't damage whatever is spinning. If you see lightning clouds with lightning shooting from them, back off to the edge of the arena or you'll probably get wiped out. Also, he summons shadow clones of your characters to fight. All fun stuff.
Keep an eye out for the clouds and clones and attack the metal things with everything you have. If you feel like things are going downhill back off to the edge of the area and heal, the boss doesn't seem to attack you much when you're far away. Once all 6 are down you need to destroy the bosses' armor and then you can attack him. When you see him raise his hand and a red circle appears under him, he is summoning a meteor storm that will probably wipe your entire party out unless you run far, far away. After the storm ends hit him some more and repeat until he dies for an achievement.
